Protein Pumpkin Spice Crema
Power up your morning coffee with this comfy, cozy and delicious Pumpkin Spice Crema Coffee with an impressive 25g of protein!
First step - brew your favorite coffee. We love to pair this fall flavored crema with a nice hazelnut medium roast.
Second - prepare your pumpkin spice simple syrup. It takes less than 10 minutes and you'll have a batch that'll last you for quite a few cups of coffee!
1 cup water
1/4 cup pumpkin spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg)
1 cup coconut sugar (or any sugar of your liking)
Heat up your water in a small pot.
Add your pumpkin spices and sugar.
Let simmer and stir until all your sugar has dissolved.
Leave on low heat between 5-10 minutes to allow your spice flavors to infuse into your syrup.
Strain and let cool.
Third - whip up your crema in a small blender, protein shaker, or frother.
2 oz coconut milk
1 oz Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup
1 scoop of Isopure Unflavored Protein
Combine all ingredients in a cup.
Blend/shake/froth until you get a nice foam.
Pour your cold crema on top of your freshly brewed cup of coffee and sprinkle with some cinnamon. Enjoy!
